Es un filme de drama histórico dirigida y producida por Steven Spielberg , con Daniel Day-Lewis como el Presidente de los Estados Unidos Abraham Lincoln y Sally Field como Mary Todd Lincoln , distribuida por 20th Century Fox Como referencia el filme se basa en la biografía de Lincoln de Doris Kearns Goodwin. Grabada entre el 17 de Octubre del 2011 a 19 de Diciembre del 2011, Su Primer anuncio fue en el New York Film Festival y estrenada en los Estados Unidos el 29 de Diciembre del 2012 en nuestro país se estrenara el próximo 18 de Enero del presente año. Fue nominado a 7 premios en los Globos de Oro  entre ellos , Mejor Película y Mejor Director, Daniel Day Lewis ganó como Mejor Actor . También nominada a los Premios de la Academia  (Oscar) a 12 premios incluyendo Mejor Película, Mejor Director y Mejor Actor .

Filmed between October 17 2011 and December 19 2011 .The first announcement trailer was during the New York Film Festival and was released in United States on 9 December 2012 and will be release in México the next 18 January of the current year .

The film was nominated to seven Golden Globe Awards including Best Picture ,Best Director and Best Actor , the winner was Daniel Day Lewis as Best Actor, And for the The Academy Awards (Oscar) is being nominated for twelve awards including Best Picture,  Best Director and Best Actor among others .
